Course Description: Students will be exposed to the history of management thought and practices and contemporary management theories. Primary emphasis will be placed on the functions of management.
My Course Description: To learn how one can effectively manage any type of business and to learn the inner workings of a business by going through subjects including but not limited to marketing, leadership, operations, planning, control, and technology. Throughout the class we went through our textbook and looked at other sources and had several exams to test our knowledge on the information. We also had several projects, one involved in the manufacturing process, another in the marketing aspect, and our final consisted of picking a business that we did a complete overhaul in the entire management process of that particular business.
Submitted Work: The work I chose to showcase here was my final project in which I had to pick a business and go over the different aspects of managing that certain business.
